Last week my friend and her neighbors threw a little Dr. Seuss-themed party for their kids while they were off from school, to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. In addition to the Dr. Seuss Bingo I posted here, I had the privilege of creating some other party crafts and printables, setting up, and taking some pictures. It was a great afternoon of fun for the kids in honor of a man who made reading fun…for little ones and adults. Did I mention I was a fan?

There were all kinds of fun, themed foods to choose from; cheese in trees, red fish-blue fish, Cat-in-the-Hat cupcakes…clever mommies over there!

The very talented Krista did the toppers and the egg-free cupcakes. She has become a master of allergen-free desserts!

I also made these Truffula Tree pencils using a tutorial I found on I’m Feelin’ Crafty. The kids used them to mark off the funny things they found on the ”Funny Things” scavenger hunt. I cut out the images and stuck them around the room before the party arrived. You can find the printable for the card as well as the “Funny Thing” images below.
Enjoy the Celebration!
